The History of Twin Bayous – Crazy like a Fox
One day, in the Spring of 1941, while Morgan LeFey was out wandering around town, she suddenly stopped on the sidewalk along Tobacco Road.
She had this idea of doing something that she had wanted to do for a long, long time.
She pulled out her smart phone and she sent a text message to her husband.
The message was: “dear anton FU! BTW in case u cant tell this is a breakup text”
Morgan’s “special friend” Mark Clemens had been waiting for her all day long at the student quad in St Tammany College.
Morgan gave up on walking all the way across town and she hailed a cab to get over there. The “crazy lady” farce was now over.
Mark greeted her when she arrived and they hugged.
Morgan thanked Mark for meeting her and she apologized for being late. She said that she had some unfinished business to take care of.
She then told Mark that she had something special to give him.
Morgan asked Mark to marry her.
And he said yes.
Early the next morning they arrived at the Sand Dunes Resort Hotel & Casino in fabulous Lucky Palms having taken the overnight flight from Twin Bayous.
When the cab pulled up in front of the resort, Morgan jumped out and ran through the entrance shouting “C’mon let’s do this!”
