The Culpepper Crowd, or TCC as it is known by its fans, is an American sitcom that is scheduled to begin airing on the SimW network in 2017. It is a spin-off, and some say a continuation, of the long running dramedy, The History of Twin Bayous. It is also considered to be a crossover of the earlier series “Story 8“.
The story revolves around residents of the Culpepper Apartment Building located in the Spice Market section of San Myshuno in the legacy dimension known as Universe-4. The time period for the first episode of TCC begins in 1999 which is 20 years after the last episode of The History of Twin Bayous.
When “The History of Twin Bayous” series was suddenly cancelled mid-way through season eight, the story goes that sometime between the end of that show and the beginning of its spin-off series, Dobbs James Dobbs, one of the main characters, began to notice a “ghost city” was starting to appear and become visible from various parts of the other districts of Universe-4.
Eventually the “ghost city” became the actual city or district of San Myshuno. This new district is where the Culpepper apartment building is located.
The show, a comedy of errors, chronicles the escapades and hijinks of the apartment building’s resident’s constant misunderstandings, social lives, and financial struggles, such as keeping the rent current, living arrangements and breakout characters.
